These pages are made for older kids and adults who like detail. Every cat is split into parts, and every part has its own pattern: flowers, scales, waves, dots, hearts, triangles or stripes. There is a sitting zentangle cat, a big cat head with a mandala, a sleeping cat, two cats with a heart, a cat under the moon, a cat with daisies and a big detailed cat pattern.
Coloring tips
- Fine markers or sharp colored pencils work best for the small parts.
- Choose one color family per pattern, like blues for the waves and pinks for the flowers.
- Alternate light and dark in repeating patterns, like scales and zigzags.
Calm coloring
Repeating patterns are relaxing to color: you do not need to plan, you just pick the next color. Take a page with you for a quiet evening.
